Maker Planner privacy policy
Effective November 3, 2026. Maker Planner is a Shopify app made by Rogelio Lopez (Lopez Automation, Long Beach, California). It works together with our terms of service.
What the app reads from your store
- Your shop's name and domain.
- Orders from the last 30 days: the order date, each line item's quantity, and the product variant it was for. Cancelled orders are left out.
- Your product and variant names and IDs, so you can link a recipe to a product.
The app does not request customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping or billing addresses, or payment details. It only reads; it never changes your products, prices, orders or inventory.
What the app stores
- The Shopify session that lets the app talk to your store. It is a shop-level session, so no staff names or email addresses are stored with it.
- The planning data you type in: materials, stock on hand, lead times, recipes, and which recipe makes which product.
Order data is read when you open the reorder board, used to work out material use, and then discarded. It is not saved.
Why
Only to show you which raw materials to reorder and how much. Your data is not sold, shared with anyone, used for advertising, or used to make decisions about your customers.
Where it is kept
The app runs on Vercel and stores data in a Neon Postgres database, both in the United States. All connections use HTTPS. The database is encrypted at rest by the provider. Only the developer has access.
How long, and deleting it
Your planning data stays until you delete it in the app or uninstall. Shopify sends a request to erase your shop's data 48 hours after you uninstall, and the app then deletes everything it stored for your shop: your planning data and sessions. Because the app holds no customer data, customer data requests and customer erasure requests have nothing to return or delete.
